Youth Ministry Formation Program
The Youth Ministry Formation Program is designed for anyone who ministers to youth in a parish setting. Topics to be covered include skills, methodology, spirituality, and justice.
How would a person working with youth benefit from this program? The purpose of this program is to provide:
- Preparation and training
- Support and networking
- Competence and confidence
- Affirmation of the call to youth ministry
- Spiritual nourishment
- A certificate leading to youth ministry certification
How will the youth benefit? This program provides the fundamentals for developing a youth ministry program that benefits youth by:
- Nurturing a Catholic identity that lives out discipleship
- Fostering the development of spirituality
- Witnessing effective models and mentors
- Participating in effective ministry
Where is it held? Youth Ministry Formation is being held in two locations in the Archdiocese:

When is it being offered? Courses held on Five Saturdays from 9:00AM - 4:00PM

What is the cost? $20 per session/$60 for books and materials; $260 for ten sessions, books and materials (Parish assistance may be available to help with cost)
