Here are some practical points about the Catechetical Convocation 2009 and the Westchester County Center that may help make your visit more enjoyable.
Hours:
- Doors open at 9:00am and the final prayer service will finish at approximately 4:30 pm.
- Schedule:
- 9:00am: Gathering/Welcome
- 9:30am: Mass with Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan
- 11:45 – 12:45: Session 1 Workshops
- 1:10 – 2:10: Session 2 Workshops
- 2:30 – 3:30: Session 3 Workshops
- 11:00 – 2:30: Exhibits in the Exhibit Hall
- 11:30 – 2:30: Lunch available
- 3:45 – 4:15: Closing Prayer Celebration
Travel Information:

- Parking is available close to Center. In County Center Lots, the fee is $ 4 per car.
Ticketing Information:

Security Measures:
- Be prepared to have purses, bags, briefcases, etc. searched on entering.
No Smoking:
- Entire Center is smoke and alcohol free.
Accessibility:
- There are special entrances and bathroom facilities which accommodate wheelchairs.
- There is an elevator.
- Greeters will be outside at the front entrance to welcome and direct you.

Exhibits:
- Exhibit booths will open in the morning after mass.
Refreshments and Lunch:
- Coffee will be available in the morning once you enter the main hall. Go to the atrium at the far right or downstairs to the Exhibit Hall.
- Food is not allowed to be brought into the Center. There are concession stands open for lunch or you may pre-purchase a boxed lunch. For more information, see our Lunch at the Convocation web page.
